6th GRADE

The sixth-grade classroom is a well-balanced, and diverse program for the students. The program includes reading, language, writing, math, science, civics, and Bible. Exploratory electives include coding, drama, art, Spanish, music, and teen living. Students will have the opportunity to participate in the new Reading Olympics program and find new adventures on field trips. In addition, the students will participate in assembly programs and sporting events. Homework is assigned daily except for on Wednesday.

Independent Reading: Some class time is allocated for independent reading and testing through Book Adventures. All students are expected to set personal goals and can choose from a variety of genre.
